According to recent reports, Club Nintendo of Japan has been hacked, and apparently full names, addresses and phone numbers were a part of the leak.
However officials assured that worldwide users need not to worry as only Japanese members are affected by the hack and advises people that if they are part of that program then they should log in and change their passwords as soon as possible.
The hack began on June 9th, and took a month to detect, after 23,000 unauthorized logins.
Nintendo is however making sure that anything of that sort should not happen again in future and bringing up new preventative security measures for the same so hopefully hackers will not be able to access any other data and users’ accounts will remain safe.
