BlackBerry Q10 pre-order is now available in the UK. The second phone with the new BlackBerry 10 mobile operating system, have opened in the UK.
The device is available both SIM free, as well as on contracts with different service providers. While the SIM freeversion is available for £579.95, the device is available for free with two year contracts with Orange, O2, Vodafone and EE.
O2 is providing the cheapest tarrif of all, offering users unlimited minutes, texts and 1 GB of data for £32 per month. Vodafone is offering 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500 MB of data for £41 per moth. EE, the only 4G network in the UK is providing unlimited minutes, texts and 1 GB of data for £41.
Though no date has been confirmed yet, BlackBerry did say that the phone will be available from the end of April at Carphone Warehouse stores.
The BlackBerry Q10 is very similar to previous BlackBerry smartphones, because of its full QWERTY keypad and smaller display.
The phone has a dual core TI OMAP 4470, 1.5 GHz processor, with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a memory card slot.
