Very little has been revealed about Ben Affleck’s role in the latest Barman movie and it is no surprise that it a well maintained secret. Suspense has played a key role in the previous Batman series, contributing to its success. Ben Affleck was officially cast as Batman a month ago. Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel sequel is tentatively titled ‘Batman v/s Superman’. This news brought a jolt to many entertainment and movie lovers and made Batman fans to lose their minds. Opinions and views were discussed on various social networking sites and some of them didn’t make a great read. Ben Affleck wasn’t loved as the new Batman by many fans, since they urged Christian Bale to take up the role once more.
Affleck hasn’t been too open to share his views with the public. However, after remaining quiet for weeks, Affleck finally discussed about the Batman news in detail on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. This occurred on Monday night and he addressed all the various reaction from Batman fans. “I am a big boy; I could handle any snub… I can handle anything”. None of the Batman fans could make any sense with that line.
After Jimmy Fallon’s show- ‘Late Night’ was shot and filmed, Ben Affleck discussed about his reluctance in taking the role, until the producers had brought him in and explained their idea. “Zack has an incredible version to the movie. It is obvious that I can’t recreate what Christian Bale did in the previous installment. This version is a different take to the life of Batman, as a superhero. Christopher Nolan is a genius for making the Batman series an extremely successful one. Zack has a brilliant insight into the movie as well and I am very keen on getting started with filming”, Affleck said.
It is a pleasant change to hear Affleck being very vocal about the project this early and expectations are on the rise for this version of ‘Batman v/s Superman’.
