With his latest transformer gaining momentum on the post-production, Michael Bay is said to be developing a new, untitled adventure project with his Platinum Dunes..
The task for putting the pen on the paper has been given to Puss In Boots writer Tom Wheeler and Supernatural staff scribbler Robbie Thompson, which according to The Hollywood Reporter has discovered will feature a basis in real science and an undersea component. During the initial stage Bay is attached more as a producer alongside Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, but the position is not permanent he may well try to direct if the script impresses him.
With his latest Transformer sequel up for the release, Bay’s list as a producer includes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesfilm (arriving October 17) and various other projects including Welcome To Yesterday, Ouija and a potential Bad Boys 3.
