On Friday, EA assured us of Battlefield 4’s Open Beta introduction to the PC, Xbox 360 and the PS3, on October the 1st. Its next generation counterparts have been given tentative dates too which are, November 12 for PS4 and November 19 for Xbox One (which is 3 days before the console’s release on the 22nd of November).
The announcement also included a claim that will allow beta players to be able to “learn maps, unlock items and build stats”, through the October 29 release of the game. Carrying stats, unlocks and awards from the 360 and PS3 to Xbox One or PS4 versions, once they launch on November will also be possible. Upgrading to next gen versions of the game can be done though programs that offer such deals, to people who already own the game.
A select number of players can access the “Exclusive” Battlefield 4 beta (like those who pre-order battlefield 4 Deluxe or have purchased Medal of Honour: Warfighter’s Deluxe). Exclusive Beta will also begin in the beginning of October.
