The Battlefield 4 Beta, which was confirmed even before the game was announced, has been spotted under the downloadable content for Battlefield 3. It’s possible that people who own Battlefield 3 will get access to it, though it hasn’t been confirmed when exactly the Beta will go live.
Battlefield 4 is set to release on 29th October, so the Beta should be launched by DICE soon enough. The game runs on Frostbite 3 and it has also been confirmed for the next-generation gaming consoles. But, access to the Battlefield 4 Beta has been confirmed for the Battlefield 3 premium members. According to DICE, one of the following criteria needs to be met to participate in the Battlefield 4 Beta:
- Pre-order the Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition on Origin.com
- Be a Battlefield 3 Premium Member
- Be a registered owner of Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition
