The Animal is almost back.
A week ago, speculations were that Batista would be making his return to his much-awaited comeback to WWE. The company made it official on Monday and has set a date and special promo for him. He would be make his return on RAW.
WWE fans, it is time to get pumped up. Batista left WWE in 2010 after having spent almost a decade with the company. The 290-pound animal was a huge hit among the fans. He won the 2005 Royal Rumble and was held a record of 282 days of being the World Heavyweight champion. He had two reigns as the WWE champion.
Batista’s comeback is well-timed, keeping in mind that the 2014 Royal Rumble would be starting in a week or so. He would make the trip to WrestleMania all the more exciting. It always brings the best out of everyone and Batista should not be an exception.
Batista’s final performance as a heel was mind-blowing. He brings with him an aura which reminds us of the Attitude Era in WWE.
It would be interesting to see whether WWE lets him continue from where he left off as the bad guy or turn him into a face, and changes his image completely. Batista vs. Brock Lesner in WrestleMania would be Batista’s ideal first fight after his return and WWE fans would be eagerly waiting for that one.
The company is giving itself the much-needed momentum which it needs this New Year and it would definitely build a huge anticipation among WWE worshippers.
