Reportedly the Gunners have left their interest in the Real Madrid’s star Gonzalo Higuain when the Argentinean International was bagged by Napoli. No results are seen to reflect in their favour given their efforts to sign in the Liverpool star Luis Saurez. Although Arsenal has achieved success by grabbing hold of 20 year old French youth international striker Yaya Sanogo from Auxere which has been the club’s only dealing this year.

Arteta still seems to believe that the club would make itself stronger before the transfer deadline. He quoted “I think we all are hoping for a great start to the season with new faces. That will result in giving us a big boost and everyone is very positive”.He further added that “ I have no doubts about it and it will happen. It may take time, but I know the boss and the board as well are working really hard on it and It will happen for sure.”

In his defence on being late to sign players he said, “I am pretty much convinced but generally the great players come at the end of the transfer window. The clubs work really hard to keep their best players and I think Arsenal will do well in the transfer window.” Arteta is pretty determined to make a run at ending the club’s long trophy drought and challenge the Premier League Title.

As reported by Press Association, The Spanish coach is motivating his players to overcome early season stutter reporting that the club can’t afford to drop points as they have done at the start of the last couple of seasons and they will begin by hitting the ground running. He conceded saying, “We need to close the gap with the teams that are trying to win the titles as we have been too far in the last few seasons. We will surely start and see how it goes, but we won’t remain as far this season.”
