Arsenal Look To Increase Firepower Before The Transfer Window Shuts

Arsenal needs to strengthen their squad before transfer window closes. The lack of power was revealed in recent game when the side was totaled by Aston Villa.

Arsenal lost their first EPL game versus Aston Villa yesterday. The plans for spending more on new and quality players was revealed earlier this summer, by CE Ivan Gazidis, with increase in Arsenal’s financial strength.

Since then, Yaya Sanogo, a 20-year-old striker has been added. He came on a free transfer from Auxerre, along with whom, a number of other players left The Emirates Stadium.

Wenger said he’ll be attempting to make more signings until the transfer deadline ends till 2 September. Arsenal now looks forward to Champions League qualifying play-off first leg at Fenerbahce on Wednesday.
