One of the major clubs in the Champion’s League is Arsenal, and another is Celtic. The two leagues draw for the Champion’s League play-off round, which will take place at the UEFA headquarters (Switzerland), and it’s going to start at 10:45 am.
Both clubs (Arsenal and Celtic) are in separate draws, and they will not be paired together. They’re also going to have to beat five other clubs. Arsenal is in the draw for the teams that have qualified as non-champions and the possible opponents are Fenerbahce, Real Sociedad, PSV Eindhoven, Metalist Karkhiv (Ukrainian) and Pacos de Ferreira (Portugal).
Celtic came out victorious in the third-round qualifier against the Elfsborg just this week, and they’re now in the running for national champions. The club got first place and will play a match against Legia Warsaw, Austria Vienna, Maribor, Shakhter Karagandy or Ludogorets Razgrad. The ten play-off matches will play over two legs, and the first will take place on August 20/21 and the second, the week after that. The Europa League play-off draw will take place in Nyon around midday, and both Tottenham and Swansea will be a part of it. Swansea might have to play against Atromitos, Petrolul Ploiesti, FC Thun and/or Slovan Liberec.
