Adwords Integrated In Maps App Of Google

Google has been working on redesigning the Maps App earlier with the acquisition of mapping companies Locationary, HopStop and Waze and the removal of the sidebar and introduction of pop-ups and emphasis on Google+ integration.

In Similar lines Google has now rolled-out a redesign with integration of Adwords, and has announced that ads will now appear on the iPhone, iPad, and Android based on search terms by user. And searches can now be made depending on activity, e.g. search based on entertainment, drinking, dining etc

On clicking the suggested ad, they will receive business info, photos, reviews and many more.

Users will be prompted to choose between free or paid as options. Free includes saving the information for later, sharing with friends or starting navigation, while Paid options include ‘get location details’ , click-to-call facility and clicks on the ad headline.
