Activision’s Bobby Kotick Is One Of The World’s Highest Paid CEO’s

Activision’s CEO Bobby Kotick is now one of the world’s highest paid CEO’s in the United States. Apparently Activision increased Bobby Kotick’s compensation to $64.9 million in 2012 and about $55.9 million of that came from the stock awards, as mentioned in a report to the SEC, but he received $8.33 million for 2012 since the awards go on for five years.

Bobby Kotick earned about $8.3 million in 2011, and Michael Morhaime, CEO and President of Blizzard Entertainment, earned over $9 million in 2012. Kotick’s $64.9 million will be given to him in parts over the five-year stretch, and he can still earn $16 million if he meets the highest performance targets of the company. His base salary increased to about $2.1 million earlier this year.
