AbleGamers Foundation Raised Over $100K In 2K13

The AbleGamers Foundation, a non-profit-making charity that helps makes gaming accessible for those with impairment and disabilities, raised over $100,000 in 2013. AbleGamers told a tabloid that the funds were gathered through events like Minethon and Pax East and were pooled with donations from businesses and live streamers.

AbleGamers COO and outreach Chair Steve Spohn further told that the foundation has some really cool projects bobbing up this year. These will embody partnerships, launching new technology, establishing new facilities for caretakers and other efforts to be revealed in 2014.

In addition to funding those projects, donations created in 2014 will facilitate support AbleGamers’ year-around grant program, that concerned the Summer of Fun grant last June.
