A Number Of Government Requests Have Been Disclosed By Yahoo

A number of requests made by the government have been disclosed by Yahoo. Yahoo is one of the latest technical companies that have done this after the fallout of the spying NSA. This statement has been co-signed by the CEO of Yahoo, Marrisa Mater and the general council of Ron Bell of Yahoo. The company has also said that the famous company has received several requests ranging from 12000 to 13000. These requests have been received from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

The law enforcement of US was also involved in this from 1st December 2012 to 31st May 2013. It is similar to the technical companies that have disclosed a number of requests made by the law enforcements of United States. It is affiliated to the data that has been received. Yahoo took the help of a press release in order to reiterate to the commitment of the privacy users. Mayer has said that they have been working hard over the years in order to earn the trust of the users.

In addition to it, she has worked hard to preserve it. Facebook has been receiving requests from 9000 to 10000, the enforcement agencies in United States of America. This announcement had been made by Facebook on 15th and had reported the status, till 31st December in 2012. These requests have been received by Microsoft during the same period with 6000 to 7000 request.

Google has asked the government of United States, in order to allow publishing the information about the national security. It is regarding the request that has been given by the company. Both Twitter and Google have criticized the other technical companies. The two companies have not revealed the number of data requests. The other technical companies were criticized for disclosing the data request that have been received by them. The reason being, these numbers did not break their own type of data request that have made the agency of the government.
