100,000 Pre-orders For iPhone Counted By China Mobile

China Mobile reported 100,000 pre-orders for iPhone 5s and 5c, after the deal with Apple that happened just a few days back. But according to Wedge Partners, these numbers are not enough and it’s not doing as much business as it should be.

The analysis done by AllThingsD, suggests that world’s largest mobile carrier should have more sales number, based on high number of subscriber.

However, the handsets are going to launch on January 17, and there must be anxiety among the local customers to get a hold of the next-generation smartphones. But not as anxious as the company had hoped.

It’s just two weeks until the iPhones are going to hit the Chinese shelves, and it’s still unclear that how many more pre-orders the carrier will receive. According to ATD, the estimates for China Mobile’s 2014 iPhone were ranged from 17 million to 38.7 million.
