The remainder of Sega’s 1st round of 3D Classics for the 3DS eShop are going to be created and made available in the US store over the next few weeks, but it appears like another batch is already in the works.
A report was published according to a Twitter exchange between James Booth, an assistant producer at Sega’s mobile-oriented Hardlight Studio, and Yosuke Okunari, a producer at Sega CS3. Booth had congratulated Okunari on the 3D Classics series and Okunari had thanked him and said “we develop the 2nd series for Japan. If this overseas release succeeds, it should release these in the entire world.” Okunari though didn’t give a clue of which games may well be included in a future round of 3D Classics.
So, there you go. If you are gunning for a lot of 3D Classics within the United States of America beyond people who have already been proclaimed, the series’ performance across our shores will ought to make Sega happy first.
