New Superman Batman Movie On The Blocks

It all came as a surprise in San Diego Convention Center’s Hall H on Saturday afternoon where Henry Lennix actor who played General Swanwick in blockbuster Man of Steel was joined by Henry Cavill to read out and enact from the Superman Batman 1986 classic The Dark Knight Returns. The event followed the press release for the announcement of the next Superman Batman duo movie based on the same with Zack Snyder as the Director and David S. Goyer in charge for scripts.

The actor duo read from the comic with lines going like this:

Snyder: “We’re not adapting this thing, but it will help us tell you something.”
Lennix: “I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come, in all your most private moments, I want you to remember my hand at your throat, I want you to remember the one man who beat you”.

The enactment followed the dramatic entrance of the logo for Superman-Batman movie. The comic is known for placing the superheroes on the opposite side of tables with situations arising from political and social reasons. The movie is set for a 2015 release.
