A new service named Anyware is launched by MobileIron, that will give Salesforce administrators the ablity to manage devices, and provide users access to a persona App store. CRM administrator will be configuring devices through a simple interface that wont have to be implemented every time, with the help of Anyware.
MobileIron is launching Anyware, a service that gives Salesforce administrators the ability to manage devices, provision them and give users access to a personal app store. After one time configuration the user has the access to download apps through a store that would feature comments, ratings and recommendations that is found in most of the app stores.
User will have to pay $2 per month for the basic Anyware service that gives user the ability to configure email and passwords; distribute apps through the catalog and a limited number of documents that he/she can access. If a user wants advanced security features, ability to buy apps in bulk and granular control over document availability he/she can opt for the top plan costing $8 per month.
Anyware provides a service to combine app stores with mobile device and manage them. It’s distinguishing in contrast to other mobile management services and app store providers as this app combines security that protects the organization and give users the ability access to apps they need to get their work done. Service can be administered by IT but the simplicity of Anyware that makes it distinct. IT won’t have to share their time managing devices and apps; rather, it would be done by administrators in an organization’s various business groups.
A record of the user, device, and the apps he/she is using and the content they access on the corporate network will be delivered to the Administrator. How the store is distributed to the user can be defined by the administrator. Hoever, Anyware is impending with an organizational platform that would be providing analytics which show details about how people are using the platform.
