Microsoft Reported It’s Strong Final Quarter

On Thursday, Microsoft announced that the company had doubled it’s Surface Tablet sales in the last three months of 2013 and has move around 4 million Xbox One consoles since introducing the next-generation gaming system just before the holiday season.

Company sold across 7.4 units of Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles in the holiday quarter, according to the reports. And made $893 million in revenue from the surface devices, up from $400 million in the previous quarter.

Also, Micorosoft has reported a fiscal second quarter earnings on Thursday, notifying that they made $24.5 billion in the quarter ending, gross margin of $16.2 billion, operating income of nearly $8 billion, net income of $6.6 billion, and diluted earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter of $0.78 per share.

“Our commercial segment continues to outpace the overall market, and our devices and consumer segment had a great holiday quarter,” said Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
