Facebook recently launched Facebook Home, a completely new integrated mobile experience for select Android users. Although the idea is to get more and more people spend more and more time on Facebook. The company has worked really hard to make sure that it really is only the select Android device owners that get to use it. The new application supported only for HTC One X, One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III or Galaxy Note II. Available only in the U.S. exclusive on AT&T network.
But if you’re the kind who wants to play with the app without buying on of those phone and moving countries and switching cellphone carrier. Then we’ve got a way for you to get facebook home on any android device. You can do that with the help of the APK files that support all Android 4.0.4 ICS and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean devices. Get Facebook Home by following the steps below:
- Remove all existing Facebook Apps: Facebook Messenger and Facebook.
- Download and Extract the file downloaded from here into your computer.
- Copy the extracted files to your Android device:
com.facebook.katana.apk
com.facebook.home.apk
and install them both in the order above. - That should do it. You should have a working Facebook Home Application. Open the app and give it a while to setup all the preferences.
