Facebook New Update Removed Ability To Block People From Searching For You By Name

The users of Facebook who have not checked there settings, have earlier lost there privacy feature that controlled who could search for your profile by first or last name. But now it’s delivering the coup de grace even for those of us who actually use it.

According to the Company, this feature was created before, when the social network was just a directory of profiles. Facebook actually wants to promote the graph search which enable users to search for each other and for status updates, and open groups that show profile pictures and images to anyone in the group and also privacy setting is considered much confusing.

It’s important to know that once you update a status on any of the social network, it’s no longer private but Facebook made it easy to control the extent of sharing your data. That means a status is not shared until you have not post it anywhere in the first place.
