According to the reports, HP is planning to launch Smartphones and the devices will be of range £125 to £150 without a contract.
HP made it’s first attempt in 2011 for the smartphone market, following its failed attempt to turn Palm’s assets into a viable business. The platform to be used by HP this time is still unknown, as its rumored that it could be WebOS.
CEO Meg Whitman told Fox Business Network that the company was considering returning to the smartphone market. However, the initial prediction regarding this news were made earlier this year.
