		<description>Instead of using a transparent PNG why don&#039;t you just use the CSS transparency so javascript stays out and then you don&#039;t need extra markup in your code for IE conditions.

You could also set the overlay to width &amp; height of 100% with overflow:hidden; so you can use the same class for multiple pages if needed.  No need to reset the height if the page is longer than 1100px.
