Isabelle Fuhrman To Star In Cell

Having a tough start in gaining momentum with the adaption of Stephen King’s killer mobile signal thriller Cell, is said to finally connects its broken pieces under the guidance of Tod Williams. Orphan’s Isabelle Fuhrman has been included to play teenager Alice Maxwell..

Fuhrman, who was last seen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, joins Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack, which features the world falling into chaos when a mysterious, phone-borne signal turns a wide chaff of the population into zombie-like hunters with a herd mentality.

The film shows Cusack as graphic artist Clay Riddell, who escapes from Boston when the signal starts to drive people around him violently insane. Jackson will be Tom McCourt, a soldier-turned-engineer who helps Riddell flee the city, while Fuhrman is set as the young woman who tags along on their adventure for survival.

The project is due for a 2015 release where Williams is working from a script by King himself and Last House On The Left writer Adam Alleca. Fuhrman has already starred on two indie movies recently, The Wilderness Of James and Dear Eleanor, but there’s no hint on whether it will hit the screens.
